As a Community Lead, you will help to advance our mission by engaging, connecting, and nurturing our thriving community. You will be an advocate for our vision, working closely with our team to implement initiatives that empower and uplift designers while also creating a sense of belonging.

Responsibilities:

• Engage members proactively through various platforms, fostering meaningful connections and discussions

• Lead conversations, share insights, and facilitate interactions that promote collaboration and knowledge exchange

• Plan and organise virtual events, workshops, and meet-ups consistent with our values and goals

• Create valuable and engaging content for our community, including blog posts, social media updates, and newsletters—curate and share resources, news, and trends relevant to our members' interests

• Create an environment where individuals feel empowered to seek assistance and share their experiences

• Collaborate closely with the DB team to align community initiatives with our broader goals

• Share feedback, insights, and suggestions to improve our community engagement strategies continuously

Qualifications:

• You have 1+ experience in community or social media management

• You are passionate about design, creativity, and fostering a collaborative community

• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• You have organisational abilities

• You are familiar with various design disciplines and industry trends

• You are curious and attentive to detail

• You can work effectively in a virtual team environment

As a Partnerships Coordinator, you will be pivotal in driving our mission forward by forging and nurturing strategic partnerships that amplify our impact. You will advocate for our vision, working closely with our team to identify, cultivate, and manage partnerships that align with our values and goals.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and research potential partners, sponsors, and collaborators who share our mission and values

• Develop and maintain relationships to explore mutual opportunities for collaboration and support

• Work with our team to create a partnership strategy that aligns with Designer Babe's goals and initiatives

• Identify areas where collaboration can improve our projects and broaden our reach

• Introduce Designer Babe to potential partners, explain our mission, and propose partnership opportunities

• Negotiate terms and mutually beneficial agreements that will have a significant impact

• Serve as partners' primary point of contact, ensuring open communication and meeting our partnership commitments

• Work closely with partners to co-create initiatives, events, or projects that align with Designer Babe's values and engage our community

• Keep track of the results and report on them

• You have 1+ experience in graphic, communications, brand or product design

• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• You’re proficient in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma

• You have a creative portfolio showcasing design projects and styles

• You understand design principles well and can translate complex ideas into designs that convey emotions
